Matt’s Wedding Ceremonies takes your online privacy seriously. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. In this policy, “you” means anyone who uses this website, and “we,” “us,” and “our” mean Matt’s Wedding Ceremonies, operated by 1st Officiant, LLC.

1. What we collect and why

When you register, buy, or opt in on our site, we collect the personal information you give us, like your name and email address, and your phone number if you choose to add it. We use this to deliver what you signed up for or purchased and to support your account. When you browse, we automatically receive your device’s IP address, which helps us learn about your browser and operating system so we can improve the experience for everyone. We also collect general location, like country, region, and city, so we know where our subscribers and customers are coming from.

Email marketing. With your permission, we may email you about new products, free and premium content (blog posts, videos, reports, guides, tips, and recommendations), and special events. You can opt out at any time.

2. Your consent

When we ask for your personal information for something like a newsletter or marketing emails, we ask for your consent directly and give you a way to withdraw it. You can withdraw your consent at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email we send, or by contacting us at married@mattsweddingceremonies.com.

3. How we share information

We don’t sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone, including advertisers, partners, or vendors. We may disclose your information if the law requires it. If our business is ever acquired by or merged with another company, your information may transfer to the new owners so they can continue to provide our products and services.

4. Where your data is stored

Customer and subscriber information is stored within our WordPress site using FluentCRM, a customer-management plugin, on secure hosting. Payment information is handled by our payment processor, described below, and isn’t stored on our servers.

5. Third-party services

We use trusted third parties to run parts of our business, and they only access the information they need to do their job. Payments are processed by WooPayments, which uses Stripe to handle card transactions. These providers have their own privacy policies, and we recommend reading them to understand how they handle your information. Some providers may be located in a different jurisdiction than you, which means your information may be subject to the laws of the place where that provider operates. Once you leave our site or are redirected to a third-party site, this policy no longer applies, so please review the policies of any site you visit.

6. Security

We take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to keep your personal information from being lost, misused, accessed without authorization, disclosed, altered, or destroyed.

7. Cookies and tracking

We use cookies to give you a more customized experience. We use Google Analytics to measure where our traffic comes from and how the site performs. We may also use remarketing pixels from Google and Facebook to show you relevant follow-up ads. To opt out of Google’s remarketing, visit your Google Ad Settings. You can also opt out through the Network Advertising Initiative opt-out page.

8. Age of consent

By using this site, you confirm that you are at least 18, or that you are the age of majority in your state or province of residence and have given us consent for any minor dependents to use this site.

We may update this policy from time to time, so please review it now and then. Changes take effect as soon as they’re posted here. If we make material changes, we’ll note it on this page so you stay aware of what we collect, how we use it, and when we share it.
